- What’s new? Me and the Triple G continued work on a lovely new piece of music last night and ate pizza and drank Redhook. Good times were had by the both of us until the season finale of The Shield came on and work ceased. I’ll try and have something in the coming weeks.

Also, I cleaned up a few of my tracks with this great VST library pack called EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Silver Edition that Troels at work turned me on to. It was a toss up between EWQL and Garritan Personal Orchestra. He claimed EWQL was better in every way to GPO and as far as I can tell, it is quite nice!

On a similar note, my friend Kevin also pointed me to this wacky Russian site, audionews.ru, for those that like to check out all of the latest sample packs when those mp3 demos just aren’t enough (honestly, I am to pay $300 for software before I truly know what it does?!). Now, I respect what these guys are trying to do out there in Russia (not that many people are probably buying the software after demoing it), but damn if they don’t have some zanny rules to abide by with their logs, restricted accounts, and secret club handshakes.
